Oh my goodness! I cannot believe how fast this year has flown. It’s time for the annual Black Friday Workshop!
If you’re relatively new to this site or The Sensible Family (formerly Gateway to Saving), you might not know about our workshops. I’ve been giving money saving workshops for over a decade now, and it all kicked off with the Extreme Christmas Savings workshop. To date, I’ve taught over 500 Extreme Christmas Savings workshops across the country and have been featured on numerous news stations and in print magazines and newspapers.
We always do a Black Friday workshop the week of/before Black Friday. In this workshop, we’ll go over all of the ads and pricing, along with many other hot topics. This includes:
- Custom price charts that show specs and best prices on items
- Product recommendations
- Discussions of products in each ad, including, but not limited to what to watch for, specs, and alternatives
- Price matching/adjusting policies
- Online Sales- who’s doing them, when we think they will start, and what you can expect
- Shopping strategies
- Opening Times
- Cyber Monday Sales
- Picking Alicia’s brain about your personal Christmas list.
- Much, Much More!
This year’s class will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Panera Bread on North Kansas Expressway in Springfield, Missouri. The class should take about 2 hours, depending on how chatty we get!
The cost for this year’s workshop is $15 (or free to VIP Members). Seating is very limited. Registration is required.
