Walmart has announced that they are going to host a Rollback Day on July 15th to compete with Amazon’s Prime Day celebrations.

Prime Day will be offering discounts to members of Amazon Prime (a 30 day free trial may be available, click here to check), but Walmart is hoping to cash in on extending their deals to all customers.

“We just don’t believe you should pay a fee to get a better price,” said Walmart spokesperson Ravi Jariwala.

Walmart will be dropping the minimum purchase required to receive free shipping to $35 (normally $50), along with rolling back prices on over 2,000 items.

We are still unclear of the start times and specific item details, but we will be live posting the deals, along with the Amazon Prime Day deals, in the Extreme Christmas Savings Facebook group.
