In a rare year with no expected video game console releases, Playstation has pulled through! In the wee hours of the morning, Sony announced that a new console would be released, just in time for your holiday gift giving. The Playstation Classic (MSRP $99.99) is comparable to the Nintendo Classic and Super Nintendo classic we’ve seen in the previous two years, and if the buying trend follows, you’d better grab this while you can!
This is a miniature console that comes pre-loaded with 20 different games and two controllers. Only a few titles have been released, but we’ll update you as we know more. The current confirmed titles are: Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms.
Best Buy is currently taking pre-orders, with a ship date of December 9th, 2018. If you’re even on the fence about it, we recommend pre-ordering now and canceling later if you change your mind.
