Target Restock: A New Competitor to Amazon’s Prime Pantry Begins Delivery Nationwide

Over the past few weeks, Target has expanded the service to nearly 75% of the United States.  This service looks to be very similar to Amazon’s Prime Pantry, but with much lower shipping rates!  You’ll be able to order non-perishable staple items that aren’t usually available for online ordering and receive FREE next day delivery!

How does Target Restock work?

You can fill a delivery box with non-perishable consumables and staple items found in the website.  Each box can hold up to 45 lbs, and every item will display the percentage of the box it fills.  You can order as much or as little as you like, but non-Redcard members will incur additional shipping charges for multiple boxes.

What items are available with Target Restock?

There are several departments available for Target Restock, including:

  • Food & Beverage

  • Home Improvement
  • Household Essentials
  • Personal Care
  • Pets
  • School & Office Supplies

How much does it cost to ship a Target Restock box?

Shipping on each box is free for RedCard holders, and $2.99 for non-RedCard holders, which is a substantial discount from the current $7.99 delivery price for Prime Pantry (only available to members of Amazon Prime).

How long does it take to receive a Target Restock box?

Order before 7:00 p.m. local time Monday-Friday to receive your box the next day!  Instead of being shipped from fulfillment centers, orders are picked from local stores to ensure fast shipping.

Can you use coupons with Target Restock?

Currently, you can save $5 off of a $50 purchase when you click .  At this time, there isn’t an option to apply manufacturer coupons to your order (unlike Prime Pantry, which offers manufacturer coupons on selected items).
