Sliding in at last minute is the Walmart Deals For Days announcement, a biannual sale that hopes to compete with Target Deals Days and the Amazon Prime Days Early Shopping Event. Retailers are expecting consumers to feel the pinch of inflation this year, so they are hoping to raise profits by extending the shopping period.
Buying early can help you stretch your budget over a longer period of time, but sometimes shoppers fear missing out on lower prices later in the season. Walmart has recently announced a generous return policy, along with two new methods of convenient returns, that will allow shoppers to purchase items with confidence early in the season.
All items purchased after October 1st can be returned through January 31st. Returns can be started on the app and returned curbside- no more waiting in line! Walmart+ members will also have the option for front porch return pickups (in selected delivery areas).
When is Walmart Deals for Days?
The October 2022 Walmart Deals for Days will run from October 10th-13th, which is two days longer than the Amazon Prime Day event that will be held on October 11th and 12th.
Is a Walmart+ Membership Required to access the sale?
A membership will not be required to shop the event, but members may see additional savings and head starts on popular items. Walmart+ members also get free shipping to home with no minimum order. Not a member yet? See if you qualify for a free trial here.
What will be on sale?
Walmart has not yet released the preview of what will be on sale, but we are expecting to see rock bottom prices on popular electronics and toys. We will update as soon as we have more info!
Will Walmart be price matching Amazon Prime Day Deals?
While Walmart has said that they will not be price matching Prime Day deals, we are expecting to see similar pricing on name brand item.
How can I find the deals?
All deals will on the Deals for Days landing page, and you can also sign up for and follow along our Facebook Group for more deals.
Will this take the place of the Early Black Friday sales that Walmart began offering in 2020?
This year, we are expecting to see many of our favorite sales from the 2020 and 2021 season, but we are also expecting to see many retailers bringing back pre-2020 traditions. We are predicting that Walmart will kick off the pre-Black Friday sales as early as November 2nd for Walmart+ members.
